A lost friend
The day I met you,
You were cheerful,
Since that day
I haven’t seen you differently.
But now we are both sad,
Because you are forced to leave.
Tears in my heart,
But yet there is a smile on my face.
This smile has a reason,
Because I’m not going to lose you.
You may be moving back home,
But you’re not moving away from my heart.
I care about you,
And that is something that will stay,
No matter what,
I know that I am not staying away.
