I’m sorry the doctor said, bad news has arrived,
I did my best but couldn’t prevent,
Her world collapsed, and her heart dived,
Downwards a leap, as she went.
No one knew how to mend a soul,
The doctor prayed in earnest
But she was split and never whole,
Gloomily, there died the furnace.
“it’s cold” she said, when the doctor shook,
“you shouldn’t be out” he glared when he saw.
“but it’s cold”, that’s not normal, take a look.
Then the doctor broke his moral law.
Helping people was what he did,
Then why did he feel bad,
He grab the pillow, as he saw fit.
And pushed it, feeling sad.
The mechanical protest was nullified,
By a muttered, silent thanks a lot,
The doctor in the end was horrified,
For he realised, he had been playing god
