A feather
flew around the trees
over my roof to disappear
and return again
I watched the spectacle
for a while my inner darkness
with them on their flight
guessing what the see
it wasn’t me
fell asleep for a an hour
in the late sun
when I awoke a black feather
lay on my lap
torrents of pain bore down
my face to touch and embrace
a feather so sleek
so beautiful in its simplicity
it was for me
and I see it as a comfort
to bear the torment over me
lead me back to my path
whatever comes is what will be
a feather sent to me

I like the message, but I''m not so sure about the English. It might just be poetic license but some phrases sound a little strange. --I''m a sucker for grammar and that, so maybe I''m being too harsh on you :)Emotion-wise it''s really good though. | |
