My visions of heaven
made sense in a whole another level.
The red eyes I saw beaming,
then I knew
were the ones of the devil.
I was trapped in a dark dimension between heaven and hell,
the infamous arena of titan clashes of good versus evil.
Preparing for an assault its figure swiftly altered in despise.
Its fierce movements were like first morning rays without dawn.
Before I knew it I bled white blood and nearly grazed demise.
As my foe glided
on defeated souls.
I mastered the flight
of silky sliding
on minuscule minerals.
I had no defences or ways to fight back and win this spectacle.
All I could do was give up the holy blessing of my gift.
So I flew past the winds towards its tracks and embraced destiny.
I closed my wings around its body trying to heal that evil in its soul.
Though the scenario I’d hoped for would prove to be plain insanity.
Blurry images appeared
as a significant sign.
Sand-creatures poured in anguish,
drinking air-walls
like bloody red wine.
My wings consumed all the oxygen in its heart, extinguishing.
It turned into cold stone but it’s fire was strong enough to ravish.
So my wings began moulding, burning and eventually incinerated.
As the creaky glow in its eyes melted like sticky snow in July,
its furious screams fainted away and the night fully faded.
- I started to fall down as gravity regained its grip -
