Blood Red Sunset
A blood red sunset ends my day
It makes me think and it makes me pray
Stars will appear in heaven up above
And then I’ll remember who I really love
A blood red sunset makes me think
When I watch I try not to blink
Don’t want to miss a second of it
And I try to see every single bit
A blood red sunset kills my mind
It stabs my heart and makes me blind
It’s not something you see every day
It’s gone just like that and the sky turns grey
When the sky is grey then so is my heart
Though every day is a fresh new start
The whole day I can be upset
But that ends when I see a blood red sunset
