I've seen you walking down the streets;
just another lonesome stray.
A cry for help no one'll ever hear,
you should just dream those dreams away.
And when in dire need;
you're just another beggar here,
disgusting their streets.
I've seen you making your round;
just another hopeless day.
A search while you roam on sacred ground,
dreaming your dreams away.
And when in dire need;
drugs will be your friends indeed,
silencing your screams.
I've seen you on your way;
