Overwhelming nostalgia plunges,
drowns my heart in all her ruthlessness
back to a place of paled out memories
and gasping fairytale sceneries…
The longing so great
so grippingly absurd
we fetched snowflakes
during one of
summer’s cool days
as they sprouted
towards freedom in the skies
out of sneezing volcanoes
like a wink of nature’s glaze
Our yearning so veined
so tangled in our minds
we ice-skated on
melted city lakes
whilst blue fishes sang
in Mozart’s rhyme
aching for us
to paint them red
so effortlessly sublime
Thinking back of the good old days
as our sorrows couldn’t even flinch us,
we found ourselves roaming free
in an ever-stretching climate fantasy…
