Shine a light
If your head is a mess and your hart is a jail
And you haven’t a clue
where to go, what to do
Just stand still for a moment, relax for a day
Let it all fade to blue
Let some rest come to you
They say life isn’t easy and will never be
And as far as i know
That is just how it goes
But there can still be wonder in each thing we see
There is always a road
There’s no place we can’t go
And if you’ve lost the way and you can’t find it back
If you’re beat down, in spite
If you’re losing the fight
If the one thing your eyes do encounter is black,
When you’re lost in the night
We who care shine a light
