If you stay in my past
Part I
The air is full with lies tonight;
you've turned day in weeping skies.
Smashed hands of sand into their eyes,
dirtying love that once was unstained ,
and ruined the virginity of my name.
I, at once, lost all faith in me,
found myself weeping at dying trees.
Deep stained pain was what I felt,
and of sweet revenge I had dreamt.
I know now what you are;
and your body will be the silent dead,
as I walk were the morning fears to tread,
if you'd stay in my past.
Part II
I saw a glimpse of a tear when your companies fell,
but I knew that another lie, you would tell.
Plucking out their eyes to see the truth;
blinded it even for the light of the moon,
and ruined the hopes for the ones I loved most.
I, at once, lost all faith in you,
turning my heart into cool, marble stone.
Oh, how I long for your cheek;
to hit you as ever as cheap.
I know now what you are;
and your body will witness its final breath,
as I walk were the morning fears to tread,
if you'd stay in my past.
Part III
If only I could have wept,
my tears burning your ravished flesh.
But I knew that I had to brave the night through,
though fear came from the dark side of the moon.
Your words have cut far too deep,
whatever how they were meant to be.
You should stop what this twisted fable's worth;
before more creations will stain this earth.
Forbidden you should be to speak,
I'll fight you, knowing I won't be weak.
I know now what you are;
and your body will fail to keep its last stand,
as I walk were the morning fears to thread,
if you'd stay in my past.
