The flood of tears

When the door slowly opens

And the tears come out

The thunder takes over

It’s the little voice inside that shouts

Why are you so upset?

What happened to your calm state of mind?

Just pull harder and don’t let go

If you loose it now, it won’t be yours to find

Falling and going

Another day in tears

Hiding and so angry

Another day full of fears

The world is too small at times

For our love to connect and spark

Those moments we fight

Leaves another damn mark

I hate seeing you angry

I hate feeling this way

I hate seeing you upset

I hate to live another day

Without your love beside me

No hope left to gather

I wish the tears had stayed down

Or drown me even rather

I am loosing faith

In the world’s wonders

The beautiful thing called love

That is wrapped up in many stormy thunders

I live to love and love to live

I will keep on tackling the fights

As long as you stay beside me

As long as you keep shining your wonderful lights
