Remember me
Remember me when I have gone away -
far into the eternal land
There where you can no longer feel my warmth -
nor hold me by my hand
Forget me not is what I ask -
when you stand where I so often stood
Remember me with all you heart -
if you could
Yet -
Should you forget me for a while
Do not grieve
Because it's better you forget and smile-
then that you remember and be sad
