like shadows
chasing after words

whispering

the cloudy thoughts
of the child next door

thinking

how life should be
looking at the stars
we see too
every day
and then we know
one day we were like them
alone and dying for love

in the shadows of the night
looking above to the light
that takes them out of the darkness
and furfills them
with memories
we never forget
as we were and are

humans

the hope has left
and life is nothing more

a tale of despair,
lost and losing
everything what could be
