Just a little man
On the street
Strolling around
To where his nose will lead
The road was hard
So was his face
Searching for something
Something to replace
She turned left
His eyes turned away
But she’s still in his mind
Stuck on replay
Just a little man
Back on the street
Walking fast
To where his nose will lead
He fell to the ground
Flat on his face
He searched for something
Something to erase
She flew up high
To where he couldn’t see
He fell harsh
But she was happy
Just a little man
Out on the street
His eyes to the sky
Hoping his feet took their lead
The sun was to bright
It was hurting his eyes
He looked back down
As he said his goodbyes
She looked at him
Saw him while he ran
He wanted her to fall
Oh he’s such little of a man
Just a little man
Watching the street
His eyes straight forward
Not knowing where it would lead
A dead end occurred
But he couldn’t go back
He fell to his knees
While his shield started to crack
Rain came along
And slowly took by
He sat there alone
And she watched him cry
Just a little man
Sat on the street
Not looking back
This time HE would lead
She stood there in front of him
Tried to take his hand
But he didn’t want to go back
There is no promised land
He just sat there and waited
For him to love again
He knew his time would come
For he is just a little man
