Electricity.
I should have gotten into that car
Let it take me where it wanted.
I should have said hello
I should have talked,
and let it take me, where it wanted.
I should have held my head up high
Look you straight in your beautiful eyes
And let it take me, where it wanted.
I should have taken your hand
And hold it tight
And let it take me, where it wanted.
I should have turned around.
I could have turned it around.
But i’ve turned around,
And walked away.
To where i didn’t know,
i was going to end.
Ignored my heart,
punished with hurt.
Still our eyes meet,
But now it’s to late.
At least i think so,
As i turn around.
That shiver i get,
when you look in my eyes..
And when you hold on to that look.
My heart starts to race.
Every word unspoken
Every move avoided.
If only i could read your mind.
And let it take me, where it wanted.
