In the Dark
~In the Dark~
When it gets too dark inside
and no lantern, sunrise or candle
can light me up today
Will there be someone here
courageous enough to let my tears find their way
no need to wipe them, don’t stop them
Convince me you are able to handle my dying
maybe i’ll dare trust you are strong enough
to handle my living
Perhaps, maybe, one day
you’ll recognize the monster
that’s living in the dark
inside my mind
living my life
Will you get scared or angry
will you hate on me
- scream or cry
Will you push me away
finally understand why
i needed to go:
my love carries a death sentence
it’s dangerous for you
for me
to stay
