Backyard of my life
Tears don’t wash away the memories
burned on your retina
They sometimes only water the plants
in the backyard of your life
If only i could choose to water
the preciousness i seem to easily forget
The mud of yesterday’s junk
makes me want to play hide, no seek
never to be crossing to the front porch
The future can only hold
more pain and suffering
my eyes can’t see the rain, no more
Here with my teddy bear and fuzzy blanket
swinging back and forth
i’ll be playing hide
for you not to seek
Don’t wanna be caught
only want to
Dis-appear
