Took me quite some time to realise,
You were 100% sincerity, no compromise
You were always there for me,
Even at the very start
Figuring out, making me see,
The true potential of my heart
Yours made you humble, passionate and strong
Yet you were happiest when everyone just got along
You never lost hope or fighting spirit,
Even at the darkest of days
Holding on and never quit,
I’ll remember you like that, always
You showed me the way to learning love and trust once more
By loving me undoubtedly, right down to my damaged core
I really hope you fully knew,
You’re the best mom I could’ve gained
And that every bit I look like you,
Makes me cherish it unrestrained
I love you with all my heart and forever hold you near
I miss you every day, though in my thoughts you’re always here
