The wait
The wait
Looking for that feeling I read everywhere,
watching all those movies,
giving all the men ‘the stare’.
Sitting at the tip of my seat,
looking around me,
not very discreet.
Sliding through the apps for my future husband,
when will he arrive with that diamond?
Knowing I almost had it once,
makes me really impatient.
I can’t put him in my five year plan
because they all say
Love isn’t something you can command.
So what to do with all the time on my hand,
dream at movies, having fun and picking something new at a bookstand.
I’ll wait…
just as planned.
