Powerless

Handcuffed with chains, that you can't see,
No one has a clue what it's like to be me,
I want...I need....I do....
Always busy dissapointing you.

No control, no power, I'm going in blind,
And in the dark, I still have all these things on my mind,
Is life a game? Look for the console,
I'm freaking out, I'm out of control.

A soft breeze, there I stand in the rain,
Waiting for the winter, to help freeze my brain,
Mistakes all over the place, I took it too far,
But it's also my trick, to see who you really are.

Abusing myself, to just ease the pain,
I'd give anything, I'm going insane,
A year has 365 days, a nightmare it seems,
Because over 300 of them, you still appear in my dreams.

The next fase in life, is just a fairytale,
And Satan gets credits for every time I fail,
I want to do it over, give me another chance!
Life is so powerless, let's try to dance!

I count my losses, and realise where I stand,
Almost alone, please someone, give me a hand,
Where did you all go, why did you all leave?!
Insanity is all that I'll ever achieve....

Don't you know how hard, it is to wake up?
Even in my dreams, I want it to stop,
You got flowers in your yard, I've got monsters in my head,
Do you want to trade? I'll take those roses instead.

Obsessive, addicted, crazy and mad,
I still crave for the life, that I never had,
But the harder I try, the bigger the mess,
My name is lost, and I'm powerless.
