I'm still here
To be honest, quite surprised myself
I guess that's what breathing does
Getting you through each day, until they become years
I'm a mom
She's six years old, little me, terrifying
A hero without a cape or mask
I can't tell her enough how special she is
Reading back the other poems
The feelings I had, the scars I made
They're both still here
Just not as bad as they used to be
I'm still here
I hope you are too
