Waking up, with the sun shining so bright.
A new day arrives,
But I'm missing the light,
That brought me in life.
To much doubt, To much guilt.
I can never make things right.
Not knowing if I fall, 'cause it might
just be the wings
And not knowing how to use them.
Listen.
Think.
Learn.
It's repeating again and again.
Why isn't there a fourth thing?
Why doesn't it say 'Do'?
Because I want to do something.
I am prepared to save someone's life.
Why don't I get the change?
I am waiting, not giving up this fight.
JUST LET ME DO SOMETHING
I want to help people,
I want to give my life,
Knowing I died doing something good.
Knowing other people will be alright.
Instead, I just have to sit in school.
Nobody there learns you how to do something important.
And isn't that what the world needs?
People who are prepared to do something for others,
So that a good world isn't just something tbat he or she reads.
