A New Year, A New Page

With the year coming to end,
I have seasoned my life
with good friends, good presence,
a better mindset, gained some confidence,

Even if have lost loved ones,
Things that belonged to someone,
Relations that have ended,
Yet I cherish it all when coming undone,

They all belong there whether you like it or not,
It might be a nuisance and it might be rough,
But you'll come out with perseverance and goodness,
That will remain in your heart, and change your character,

So embracing all that I have left in the old year,
And bring good will in the new year to better,
Myself and cheer on others for doing it themselves,
And hope I'll end up better in health,

So screw all the ones who treated you like shit,
Fuck all the ones who left you in the dust,
And celebrate new friendships whole fully,

And together we'll kick off the New Year,
With some rocking bands and a couple of beers,
