The time of swords and hero’s is over
The time of nukes and guns is at hand
The world trembles in fear
And I am left here, and I don’t understand
Love is stronger then any weapon humans ever made
But how to use it……. everybody has forgotten
But then I look at your beautiful appearance
And I realise that not everything is this world is rotten
I wish we lived in the time of swords and hero’s
The times of real brothers, magic and kings
Where guns are not even in the dreams of the warriors
And a sword is the only thing that kills
I could protect you, my beautiful lady
I could be a real hero for you and the ones I love
I can’t be that for you now, even though I try
But sweetheart, I’ll never make you cry
I will never let you down, I will save you whenever I can
Protect you from all the harm that comes your way
Even though I don’t have a sword and shiny armour
And just these simple words to say
I am not a hero, nor a knight in shining armour
I am not a king, a wizard, or a warlord in feudal japan
But I’ll do the best to be a hero for you
I’ll really do anything I can
