Yet there is hope still
The old man said to the child
For a dreamer with a strong will
Victory or ill fate, in all he’ll be reconciled
When doom is impending
And woes rise above your head
Sometimes to be ascending
You’ll need to fall a few times instead
Not on the highest slope
Character grows
But there in the absence of hope
In the darkest of lows
When the strength in you
Fades and all that’s left is your mind
Remember my words true
When the world is harsh they shall be kind
For the world in all its weeping
Shall know it’s share of laughter too
You’ll be awake when others will be sleeping
And develop an uncommon worldview
The door then shook
And at last, it fell
The old man’s life book
Became just a tale for the child to tell
Often times he would
Remember each word
And in the darkest lows, he grew good
A shepherd of man’s herd
Now he is old as well
And time is running short
But as often he had fell
He always stood up with a new resort
He is an example shining and bright
That however bleak the situation
There’s always a light
We are capable of our own salvation
