A soul to soul connection
No doubt, that was you and I.
Both not seeking for perfection
But a pure heart and honest eyes
Problems, thoughts and fears
They just seemed to disappear
A calm wind was reaching over
Whenever we were near
And that hug, what happened there
Something I just can’t explain
If that was Cupid’s dart
We surely drove that guy insane
Cause we tried to keep it firm and steady
Friends, while knowing it’s more then that
But who was and am I kidding
When you’re 24/7 in my head
So I made the call
No contact for as long as it will take
Knowing, trying to let this feelings die
Could be my biggest mistake
Cause maybe we’ll lose it all
Maybe the friendship will survive
Maybe I’m letting something go
That was mend to be for life
All I know is that I miss you like crazy
You were that type of ‘lover and best friend ‘
And to be honest I don’t really believe
That I will find that ever again.
