scientific, logic fails
walking against the wind
it's a triumph, not a sin
so rebellious within
expectations, ivory ruins
material eyes can't think one way
poetic elegance can't sink today
beyond the surface
along the shiny diamonds
and the perils that we denie
in our absence, stones will fly
places rich, pouring out our sky
taking up upon our lakes
surfing sun tanned celestial waves
in our inside locked up caves
in which we're hiding
sacred, mystic smoke rises up
within the trampled leaves
while a lonesome willow weeps
invisible, circling serpents sleep
traces of the long lost trails
fairytales, reality fails
both of which we'll never hear
without conviction
contradiction, sentiments
so clear yet so confused
spineless, heartless utterly bruised
forgiveness, expected to be abused
as I wake up from the ghost
which I fought just once, at most
it's a broadened, confused dream
no not bittered, just could't see
beyond myself
