Far away, in a land still unrevealed
Forests are covered with snow
Although the trees keep the landscape sealed
Its beautiful appearance would like to show
A nice little cottage inhabited by elves
They are a reflection of us human beings
They make it possible to look deep inside ourselves.
At least for the ones who are ready for seeing.
Sometimes we find things beyond comprehension
Simply forgetting it, is what we cherish
While it should be the center of our attention
And we should try to make it perish
Why is this world infected by madness?
Why do men turn against each other?
Can't they see it's only spreading sadness?
And that we betray our earthly mother?
So can't we stop it, haven't they gone too far?
War is not something to decline
It will only leave a deeply engraved scar
Which hurts the most during Christmastime
This is not an assault so don't get me wrong,
It's just that sometimes I don't really understand
Why people change for only two days long
Why can't it last longer? Just hand over their command
So Christmas won't last for just several days
But will turn into a time to remember
That a chain reaction would make its way
Which ignition took place at the end of December
I mean...don't you think it's time to recall
After all this is a time of delight
So think of the children who have nothing at all
And try to survive these long winter nights
Those Children make Christmas matter
Too bad however that no one is aware
Because if we would all stand together
We could show them we really care
Or what about the homeless who are aching with cold
Poor old feet with frost-bitten toes
All they own is just what they hold
Ragged in sheets with torn down clothes
Or the animals outside who are in search of food
When actually it's nowhere to be found
That thought really doesn't make me feel good
Sadly, to our compassion, they're bound
But I guess that's just western civilisation
Just cosy and safe you all try to hide
Yet Christmas doesn't need a location
It's simply a feeling you have deep inside
So here's my Christmas wish, I'll state it with tears
I hope this is what the future brings
That for all the coming months and years
We'll live in harmony with all living things
