Buried in a sea of forgotten memories
Like the thoughts at the farewell kiss
Like the fears you feel during your first speech
Beneath the surface i never seem to reach

I can't swim in this bitter sea
Which is as salty as it can be
For i can't breath within this atmosphere
I'm drowning in an ocean full with tears

My hope is lost 'n will never again return
It died the same time my heart pitch black burned
My dreaming heart has disappeared long before now
How that happened? Everybody knows how..

I cried endlessly 'n died of sadness once again
But as they say: There's always sunshine after the rain
It takes time before white fluffy clouds enter the sky
'n Even longer it'll take before i again learn to fly
