Sleep
I feel like getting back to bed,
pulling the covers over my eyes.
Thinking about words that were said,
worrying about conflicts and lies.
Longing to sleep,
give my eyes a rest.
Sinking really deep,
lots of worries on my chest.
In my dream reality
I feel safe and warm
always calm, at ease
noone can do me harm.
So don't wake me up,
let me sleep forever.
Wondering endlessly
and returning never.
