lost?
Where have I gone, what have I done,
Did I truly leave everyone.
No, surely not, this isn’t true
‘T’ is not something that I would do
I haven’t gone, just not been here,
But always have I been quite near.
What does that mean? What does it seem
The things that happen all around
Did I do leave, and then whereto
I never meant to leave any of you
I am still here, where that might be
I am still here for all to see
But what was here, when I was not
Was I missed, a bit or a lot?
What silly questions they all seem,
But somehow I know what they mean,
They tell of me, what I should be,
Closer to those close to me.
