Over my shoulder,
Ill search and look
For what's left behind me.
The skies ill scrape
For what's not on the ground and
never founded.
Underneath my feet, ill dig for answers
Left behind me.
Empty my pockets, undress my clothes
To see what's left behind in my naked body.
Maybe the naked truth will come forward
To what i'm seeking,
Not to what's left behind me.
The answers, i couldn't find looking
over my shoulder,
Or lying underneath my feet.
Must lie behind the horizon.
I reached for the hand in the skies
That toked me to a higher level in life,
Left it all behind me
And found peace of mind.
