At the bottom of the ocean
she lay, sleeping
resting in the warmth
of her shell
She couldn't hear, or see
was never meant to be
for that,
she was the peace itself
The only thing alive
but her
a world of water, salt
and sand
Coming by and leaving
calm in circles
far from every living lie
lasting on the land
In the latter of her live
she lay
abandoned by the peace
too still
The landlife had come
too soon
and took this pearl, her soul
and will.
