Departing Life
How I’d love to leave
Leave all these words unsaid
I realise that I breathe
I’d rather wake up dead
No hope nearby to find
Used candles burn my hand
Maybe this rope will unwind
Before I’m buried in the sand
Acid decades my eyes
Moulding my conscience
Hiding behind your lies
Deserting my nonsense
This is not the end
Neither the start
It’s just a small bend
Waiting to depart
No death or life awaits
My future or yours
No god that creates
Firmly founded floors
