Missed My Chance
Floating in the storm
She paralysed my fear
I’d like to scream out loud
There’s no one left to hear
Running from myself
Trying to escape my head
Looking for the words
That include my threat
Feel the change in my hand
When I held hers tight
Earth consumed me alive
Help was out of sight
Don’t ask me how I feel
Words fade when I speak
Not one stayed for to long
They’ve always been weak
I can’t find her heart
I’m to destroyed to see
If this is the end or the start
She’ll do fine without me
Sacrifice my feelings
Relief my heart from it’s soul
To find the abused shadows
Discover they’re not equal
