Before I suddenly soil myself
I’d really like to quietly sit and drink, and talk and think
about whatever seems to matter then
Sometimes I’d like to shoot some pool
or bees, or people, that what’s closest to me
Sometimes I’d like to kick some balls in goals
or skulls in holes as deep as all life’s miseries
Maybe the rope will be able to cope with all my brain’s activities
Maybe the booze will help me lose and sometimes win a few
Maybe my scars will remember the war, in which I nearly shot myself
Maybe the stars can see how far the moon is reaching just to touch them
I hope the moon will tell me soon how I can do the same
Now it’s just a matter of waiting
and emptying my blatter
