Sometimes, when you're down and out
You feel like your life is meaningless
And none of your friends seem to care
That for you, it's practically over
In times like that
There's only a few things you're hoping for:
Someone who will listen and who cares
Or to die, as fast as possible
But dying won't solve your problems
It's the end of you, but that's all
You'll bring sadness all around
By taking the easiest way out
Your friends will feel guilty, so guilty
Without you they'll feel empty, so empty
You'll die with a troubled mind
And leave nothing but wonder behind
I'm not sayinf life is easy
Being depressed is hard, I know
But ending it is not the solution, trust me
Even when life doesn't seem a friend, but a foe
But there's one thing you must always keep in mind:
In wartime, children live without food or clothes,
In the concentration camps, people were grateful for every breath,
People with a cronic disease struggle forever with their medication
These people know one important thing:
That life is worth fighting for
Even if it's hell, it's too special to let go
And that's something you, too, must know.
If you don't realize that life is special,
Then what the hell are you doing?
If kids can live in a world of destruction
How can you not find the strength to seek help?
There will always be somebody out there
Somebody who wants to help you
Even if you think you're all alone
There's always that one person!
I'll be that person in time of need
I'll be the one you can come to
I'll not go whining, I'll not show greed
I'll be there just for you.
