Unwind
I can’t write about the thinking
I can’t let the feelings go
I can watch it while it’s sinking
Pretend there’s nothing more to know
I can’t shout when I use silence
To avoid what I have been
I deny the inner violence
And say that I have never seen
I can’t use brightness
When I pretend to see all blind
I can’t bear the lightness
When I’ve left the dark behind
Shadows will come after
The feelings that I hide
The lightened dream disaster
I’ve never blown aside
Your everlasting blindness
I chose to see blind
Will fade away the kindness
To leave it all unwind
