I'm not sure but I'm convinced

You said those words too many times
And they made it so much harder to part
But when you wrote to me
"Goodbye, I guess this is where it ends"
I didn't understood where it went wrong
Really thought we'd be forever friends
Too naive, to start loving you that much
Never thought about things going wrong
But like yesterday you wrote to me
I also guess our love wasn't so strong
Our dream, of finding happiness
Of livin' a life without hurt
We could have realized it
But then you said that word ..
You said to me "goodbye"
And didn't even told me why
You gave it up so fast,
But I know, the memories will always last ..
