Brother
We were with six some time ago,
suddenly you left us . . . angry, I know.
No reason to live this current life,
is what you thought early that morning,
. . . or was it late that night?
No note, no sign, no quick goodbye,
only one last memory, but yet. . . not mine.
Two persons, which actually are you,
you know who I mean. . . your children, you had two.
The one is your image, the other your heart,
but none has your voice, or even your thought.
They can not replace you, not even the two,
but they help to remember, as we sometimes need to do.
I hope you rest, in love and peace,
my brother. . . my friend, . . . I never told you, but indeed.
I felt for you. . . more than you thought,
never had the strength to yell it out loud.
Therefore I write, these quite words,
which I hope will reach you . . . but will not hurt.
We are waiting. . . for the time to come,
that we will meet you. . . one by one.
