Cold war
Thoughts rushing
through my mind
as a soldiers letters
to his beloved ones
About the storm outside
and the silence within
Letters crammed
with desperate words
just a vain attempt
to reflect the pain
About friends who
aren't friends, lost trust
and forgotten memories
And every night my
eyes set free one
thousand tears
As raindrops
on my contorted face
Washing away
my pent-up grieve
Our world is ruled by
selfishness
And as I speak
loud gunshots kill
mothers,fathers and children
Screams going
through flesh and bone
But fear closes
off our ears
Will anybody ever see
the murders of life?
Madness
is creeping up on me
Voices in my head
are taking control in my
tunnel of darkness
I can't see the light
And what there's left
just one question
How shall I say
goodbye?
