Dear Dad
Can't stand that you keep leaving
when you're place is here
we're left in sadness
we stopped counting tears
I'm so frightened
for every word you say
still you're filled with anger
and you keep pushing me away
It's not fair
that you made this my life
maybe this evening
I saw you for the last time
I'm so scared
for the things that you do
why you keep hurting
when nobody is hurting you
I stil can't believe
you just don't care
you shout and drink
and you're never there
Why is everything changing
in ways I don't like
I can't hold on
the real pain inside
