Blind
I was nine years old when I lost my sight
I have to use my hands now, to read stuff
but when I met you I saw the light
and that was all I needed to fall in love
hearing you speak really makes my day
you bring me colours even though I’ll never see them, ever
you make me happy in every way
just by the touch of your fingers I know I want to be with you forever
every time I want nothing more
then you passing by for a while
I want to hear you ringing at my front door
that would really make me smile
I want to marry you; I want to hear you say: “I do”
that’s the sentence that’s always crossing my mind
I want it even though I never saw you
because I learned that it is true what they say, real love is blind
