Darkness
everything is black
the darkness surrounds me
I get scared in this dark hole
because this black is the only thing I see
there are noises you hear sometimes
and these sounds that you hear
they’re sometimes soft and sometimes loud
these sounds fill you with fear
this darkness represented my life
until I met you
you helped me you know
you pulled me through
I don’t have to be scared anymore
don’t have to stay frightened
she makes the darkness disappear
thanks to her, everything is enlightened
the noises are gone
the colours came back
eventually there was no more darkness
no more black
