Crying in the dark
Not knowing
If you’ll be here with me,
Or over there far away
As I gaze into the darkening sky,
I realize,
There’s no need to be afraid.
You’ll be here
You promised.
You’d never break a promise,
Let alone this promise.
As I dream away,
The darkened sky relights.
You’re here, forever
