when wind is soaring through your hair
drops of rain replace the tears on your weeping face
sunlight provokes a smile with grace

your eyes reflect a glympse of hope
when a sense of warmth and love captivates my gaze
once again you sweep me of my feet
taking me from this place to the land of bliss
only to once again wake up on the edge of an abyss

knowing that i'm still not there
that we'll never meet
we'll never kiss

I am always reminded
I will never be at home in any place
until both you and I are there

warm winds soaring through our hair
tears of joy will soon replace
