Akshaya Murti
(Inexhaustible Form)
Last night I anxiously was looking out for Thy eternal Face
While, full of adoration, I was gazing into outer space
Where every star was telling me how it resembles Thee so bright
In all the glance and glory of it's mystical and radiant Light.
But only early morning, at sunrise, this insight came to me:
Whatever outer form I see, is not comparable to Thee
And even all-embracing light of thousand billion suns in space
Can only show, to my gross eyes, the palest shadow of Thy Face...
