~Deadly Hidden~

The darkness lingers
speaks its way through my mind
longing for the second
- i will let my guard down

Don’t want to be a door-way
for darkness to infect this world
This monster living inside is crawling,
growing, faster than i can expand its cage

Don’t mind to live a life of shadows
don’t mind having company of dark
But please don’t try to unlock my heart
for this monster that’s me is what you’ll find

What you see is what you get
is not true – when darkness disguises in sweet
sugarcoated stories eating you alive
leaving you to crave until you loose yourself

i need to conquer my monster
before freedom can be entered
If i keep it locked in my heart
it’ll die with me and i’ll live
