Poetic rain
It must be gravity
preventing my thoughts
from floating freely
towards you
Instead they fall to earth
as words like rain drops
with a poetic elegancy
And while I keep trying
to write myself into eternity
I might risk losing one core goal :
To find the right set of words
for you to be read
and for me to be heard
